Pre-Lunch Workshop

Entrepreneurial workshop

Timing: 9 am – 12 pm

Learn to become an entrepreneur from the experts. This workshop will address how to set up your own clinic, making logo, branding, promotions. Also how to use technology to set up E-clinic or website or apps. The participants will get opportunity to master the art of Soft Skills for successful business. Last but not the least the role of finance management and marketing to support your business.

Trends and Advancement in Management of Renal Patients

Timing : 9 am – 12 pm

This is a hands- on- training workshop by the experts in association with Mumbai Nephrology Group. The sessions will provide insights on renal management in clinical setup. The participating NGO , Narmada Kidney Foundation will drive the Organ Donation Drive during this workshop.

Food Composition Data – Training Workshop

Timing: 9 am – 4 pm

This food composition training will be conducted in association with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and will focus on strengthening the knowledge of relevant food composition data. Participants will learn to interpret food composition data, what factors affect nutrient values of foods, and the basic principles of compiling a good food composition table. Those registrants who complete the online version (i.e. not the download version) of the E-Learning Course on Food Composition Data (http://www.fao.org/elearning/#/elc/en/course/FCD) before 1st September 2016, will be issued a “Certificate for Completion” conjunctly by IDA, Mumbai Chapter and FAO, or otherwise a “Certificate of Attendance”. The registration is limited.

Post-Lunch Workshop

Clinical Nutrition in ICU – Are we doing it the Right Way?

Timing: 2 pm – 5 pm

This workshop is aimed at sharing the latest guidelines towards providing clinical nutrition for the critically ill patients. The subject matter experts will throw more light on the practical aspects around the importance of starting the Right Feed at the Right Time to Ensure Faster Recovery of Patients. The faculty for this workshop will be a combination of leading intensivist and clinical nutritionist.

Food Safety, Health and Nutrition

Timing: 2 pm – 5 pm
This workshop in association with The Association of Food Scientists and Technologists (India), Mumbai (AFST). The workshop aims to strengthen the integration of Role of Nutrition in Food safety and Health. It is relevant to update the concepts of Nutritionist regarding Food safety regulations with special reference to FSSAI act, understanding Food labels guidelines and Food analytical components for application in the field of Nutraceuticals.
